Creating my Portfolio

As a graphic designer, it is vital that i have a fully functional portfolio that showcases my work and what I'm capable of. This helps people gain a understanding of what kind of designer i am and if they are interested in contacting me. Usually, portfolios would consist of a few pages, but in this case i will be making a one page website.

The process of creating a portfolio normally involves first designing it on photoshop - this lets you get a desired look and know exactly what it will look like once complete - if done right. Then you would slice the website up into small images and begin constructing it together on Dreamweaver. Then you would add content on top.

So firstly i had designed the website on Photoshop, began slicing the images to size. This is so the images can fit into the website separately instead of being one big massive block. This helps the layout of the website and makes it all compact.
